After reading this step by step beginners guide you will be available to buy/invest in Digipulse(DGPT). I would also like to point out, that I’m not giving out a financial advice, investing is still considered risky. I’m purely showing you how you can purchase Digipulse in a very simple way. If you read the guide carefully, you will own Digipulse in a couple of minutes.
P.S There are multiple ways how to buy Digipulse and any other cryptocurrency, I’m just showing you one of the ways. In my opinion, it’s rather easy.
If you’re here and reading this you obviously, already know what is Digipulse, so I’m not going to tell you that, you can read that on Digipulse blog or website.
First, you’ve to understand that you can buy DGPT tokens in multiple exchanges such as(for now) Cryptopia, UpCoin, EtherDelta, and IDEX.
In this tutorial, I will show you how to do it in Cryptopia, since it’s the biggest Exchange from this list.
If you don’t know how to do it already, We’ve prepared a blog post similar to this that explains how to create an account at Coinbase – How to use Coinbase to buy and sell cryptos and bitcoins.
If you read the post you will understand, that, before you can actually buy DGPT Tokens, you’ll have to invest in another cryptocurrency and you can choose – Bitcoin or Litecoin those are the options Coinbase is giving you and Cryptopia is Exchanging. In near future, Coinbase might add other ERC-20 Coins and maybe they will add Digipulse…who knows. In any case, that would make the purchase of Digipulse a lot easier.
I would suggest you start with Bitcoin since it has the highest trading volume. It will just make it easier to invest in DGPT. In summary that’s step 1 – create an account in Coinbase and buy Bitcoin. I’m going to use Bitcoin in this tutorial as an example.
Go to Cryptopia and create an account. Nothing too complicated. There’s a register button in the top right corner. You will be transferred to their sign-up landing. You will have to enter your email, password, name, last name. That’s it. Of course, they will send you a confirmation email which you will need to confirm. Straightaway I suggest you turn on 2FA. Security is Important.
Step 3 – Transfer your Bitcoin from Coinbase to Cryptopia
You should already have an account in Coinbase if you’re following my guide and you should have some Bitcoin in your account. Now go back to Coinbase, log in and press Accounts.
When you press “Send” Coinbase will ask you for a Bitcoin address. Remember you can only send Bitcoin to Bitcoin wallet, don’t mix it up. Otherwise, you will lose all of your Bitcoins. Be careful.
So now you have to log in Cryptopia and find your Bitcoin address.
After you’ve logged in Bitcoin Sign(Top right corner) It will give you a drop-down menu. Click on Deposit.
It will show you your Bitcoin address in Cryptopia.
Now copy your Deposit Address.
Go back to Coinbase paste the address, enter the amount you wish to transfer to your Cryptopia account and press send. That’s it.
Coinbase might ask you to confirm your transfer. In a couple of hours(usually around 30min) you will be able to access your Bitcoin(BTC) in your Cryptopia account.
Step 4 – Trade Bitcoin into Digipulse(DGPT)
Now the final step – buying actual DGPT Tokens.
When you have logged in Cryptopia click on the top left corner Exchange>BTC and in the search bar find DGPT(Digipulse) > Click on it.
You’ve made it this far – now buy it.
Enter the amount of DGPT tokens you’re willing to buy. enter the price you’re willing to pay for them. Cryptopia will calculate how much BTC you need to buy that amount of DGPT.
There you have it. You made it. Now you know how to buy Digipulse Tokens. Wasn’t that hard, was it?
This is how to buy Digipulse Tokens. It’s just one of the multiple ways. Like I mentioned in beginning there are multiple exchanges where you can buy DGPT. If you’re interested in learning different ways how to buy DGPT, leave a comment below. Also, if you would be interested in learning how to transfer your DGPT to a crypto wallet instead of keeping them in an exchange, let us know.
After signing up for any service I would highly recommend setting up 2FA(2-factor authentication) to any account, try to keep your account safe. Both of the platforms allow you to do so (Cryptopia and Coinbase). I would suggest activating 2FA to all of your crypto accounts. You can never be too safe when it comes to money. Better safe than sorry.
